Job Description:
OverviewThe Cannabis Control Board (CCB) is recruiting for a
motivated individual to join our collaborative and dedicated team
in the role of a Licensing Agent. The CCB is a small agency with a
big mission; becoming a member of this team requires enthusiasm and
a strong work ethic. We are looking for a team member who has
working knowledge of licensing processes and considerable
experience with database software. Salesforce experience is
preferred and excellent communication skills are required.This
position is critical to accomplishing the overall mission and
vision of the Board. Main functions include, but are not limited
to:
- Woking as a part of a team supporting the application process
by aiding new applicants and existing licensees.
- Accepting, reviewing, and processing Cannabis Establishment
license applications.
- Following up on application deficiencies via written requests
to applicants and making licensing decisions in accordance with
rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Entering and reporting data from the Board's licensing
database
- Providing recommendations of suitability for cannabis
establishment license applicants and generating referrals to the
CCB Compliance & Enforcement division.
- Accepting and processing application and licensing fees.
- Ensuring accurate data entry, assisting inthe preparation of
daily deposits, and mail duties.This position is based in the CCB's
fast-paced office environment in downtown Montpelier. Telework may
be available up to two (2) days per week.Who May ApplyThis

a standard office environment. Site visits may be necessary, and
travel will be required. Minimum QualificationsTwo (2) years or
more experience in administration of licensing, regulatory, or
compliance programs, records management, or related field.Preferred
