THE ROLEWorking as part of the global research team, develop investment recommendations within assigned US high yield sector, for the fixed income portfolios managed by MFS.WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Work as part of the global fixed income investment department, developing specific investment recommendations for use by portfolio managers.
• Conduct deep fundamental independent research using sources such as company literature and financial statements, various business publications, and other external sources.
• Maintain ongoing coverage of assigned industry sectors and highlight investment opportunities using written notes and participation in meetings and discussions with other analysts and portfolio managers.
• Act as the in-house expert on designated area of concentration.
• Perform additional duties as directed.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Masters of Business Administration and/or CFA charterholder preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience - sell side or buy side.
