Job Description:

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide essential support and supervision to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities as well as Behavioral Health histories. This position plays a critical role in facilitating healthy and socially acceptable behaviors for our consumers living in community-based settings. The DSP will work closely with clinical staff, implement residential interventions, and assist clients in achieving their clinical goals.

Responsibilities:

Direct Care:
Supervise individuals according to their Person-Centered Support Plan.
Support in activities of daily living such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and toileting.
Assist in community integration activities including medical appointments and accessing social security.

Administrative:
Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor s degree preferred.
Basic computer and internet literacy.
Previous experience in the human services field is preferred.
Valid driver s license.
Must pass employment screenings, including FBI clearance if applicable.

Additional Details:
This position does not require the administration of medication.
The role does not involve direct work with minors or working in environments where minors are present.
