Job Description Because this role involves a combination of
collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form
of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and
remotely.This position is a combination of Factory and Business
Area Planning in support of Programs at the MER24 Sustainment
Center.The Supply Chain Planner (SCP) is the focal point for all
supply chain activities. The planner supports execution of programs
and assists with reporting of key performance indicators,
performance data, and miscellaneous metrics. The Supply Chain
Planner will identify and escalate issues to VSS, OPM, and Factory
and Supply Chain Management.SCP will plan, prepare, issue and
control material requirements in conjunction with the production
schedule. Planner will support risk management activities impacting
the value chain working with cross-functional teams. The planner
ensures that shipments are accomplished to maintain
contract/internal delivery commitments. SCP will utilize system and
process tools to achieve program / functional goals.Required
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Ability to verbally and accurately report production status to
program team or factory team.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- ERP System Experience (Oracle, SAP, Other)
- Ability to analyze and react to exceptions in MRP, especially
around Bills of Material, Material Planning, Purchase Requisitions,
Purchase Orders and COs.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Good communication skills and drive to learn Supply Chain
initiatives, processes, and procedures as well as a multitude of
modules and reporting.
- Progressing in a bachelor's degree in business/supply chain or
related field
- Experience working in a Depot environment using YORKPay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $64130 - $109010Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
