Job Description:
Job Description BAE Systems is looking for an experienced
Digital/RF Technician to join their fast-paced Engineering and Test
team in Nashua, New Hampshire. You will be supporting a wide
variety of tasks in the day-to-day operation within a Engineering
Lab.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical,
electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots,
calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment,
components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering
drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related
equipment: conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
Performs calibration and alignment checks: makes adjustments,
modifications, and replacements as directed.
- Familiar with setup, calibration, and use of Signal Generators,
Spectrum Analyzer, and/or Power Meters.
- Familiar with work related database tracking applications
- Collaborate with all functional groups on various
projects.
- Maintain accurate records and explain defects found-clearly and
concisely.
- Must be willing to work off shifts as required by the needs of
the business.
- Individual who has initiative, motivation and desire to learn
and grow. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Must be a US citizen
- Associates Degree in EET or equivalent and 5+ years of directly
related experience
- Electronics certification from a civilian or military technical
school
- Possess a current Secret Clearance or able to obtain a DoD
security clearance
- Strong desktop application/GUI knowledge (Putty, Hyper, SSH,
etc.)
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows based programs
- Understands lab safety, ESD principles and day to day
operations.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Possess a current Secret Clearance or able to obtain a DoD
security clearance
- 10+ years electronics experience with electrical hardware
testing
- Electronics certification from a civilian or military technical
school
- Strong desk stop application/GUI knowledge (Putty, Hyper, SSH,
etc.)
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows based programs
- Familiarity with labs and day to day operationsPay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $83050 - $132880Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
