Job Description:
Seeking hands-on care for my mother. She is a lively person with
COPD and dementia. She is on hospice in our home. I am seeking
someone to help her transition from dinner to bed time.Evening
routine:-Join dinner with our family (sometimes including 2
teenagers) or prepare simple dinner.-help going up the stairs to
her bedroom. -Cueing evening routine-assistance with pjs, toilet,
toothbrushing-assertiveness with healthy toileting essentials and
Depends-Administer oxygen cannula, nebulizer, and evening
medications-Creative problem solving to maintain routine. Remaining
firm, patient, and kind. Redirecting mood swings, inflexible
thinking, and demanding behavior.Required
