  Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a--Travel - Certified Surgical Technologist - CVOR - West Shift:--Variable D/E / 7a-7:30p can be rotated to 11a-11:30p, 12x3, 36 hrs per week Length: 13 weeks1st week: 3-12hr shifts 7a-730p for orientation (Mon, Tues, Wed) 2 weekends/month - either call (7a-7p, or 7p-7a on Sat/Sun/holidays) or working shifts. 30 min on call response time. Short call shift 3a-7aHolidays eligible to work: any while on contract-- Requirements:
  • 1-3 years related work experience
  • Cardiac surgery and cardiac transplant surgery: Open vascular/ endovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, thoracic robotics & general surgery--
  • Skills: Scrub general surgery, robotics, transplants, ortho, neuro, spine, ENT (primarily head & neck); GYN, Urology; trauma
  • AHA BLS
  • NBSTSA--
  • National Certification
  • Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise preferred Other Details:
    • If candidate worked a surg tech prior to 7/1/2012, no cert is required or formal education required. If candidate worked as a surg tech after 7/1/2012 cert and formal education required- facility can determine whether or not candidate is required to adhere to state guidelines
    • NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility)
