Maintenance Technician
East Granby, Connecticut
As a member of the Supply Chain Maintenance department, call upon your highly honed technical skills, such as hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, PLC etc., as well as preventative maintenance procedures. Duties would include the design, evaluation, troubleshooting, repair and installation of Bakery equipment. To qualify, you should be a high school graduate with two years of training from a technical school, and have 3 to 4 years of related experience. Alternatively or additionally, you may be a licensed journeyman of a skilled trade. You must be computer literate (word and spreadsheet) and have some automation production experience. Most importantly, you?ll function from an acute awareness and understanding of how to work safely on mechanical and electrical equipment in a production environment. We seek a candidate who is self-motivated, detail oriented and results driven. You must also be flexible enough to work a variety of hours, weekends included, as needed. EPA Refrigeration Certification is an attractive plus!
