Sr. Specialist, Disaster Recovery Test CoordinatorQuincy, United States of AmericaAct as the DR Coordinator responsible for planning and coordinating Disaster Recovery testing for a multi-entity IT DR function. The candidate must possess a general working knowledge of technical disaster recovery concepts, including but not limited to data replication, storage, backups, Recovery Time Objective (RTO), Recovery Point Objective (RPO), network routing and segregation, issue tracking, backups, and cyber resilience.The Sr Specialist, Disaster Recovery Test Coordinator is a facilitator of disaster recovery testing initiatives focused on delivering a sound and robust DR testing program. S/he leads and supports activities necessary to enable the organization to respond to a technology disruption, including managing new and ongoing technology recovery testing. S/he independently manages the disaster recovery testing lifecycle (IT and business test planning, test coordination, & reporting) for a portfolio of applications across product lines & platforms, technical support teams, and business units.Job Description DR Planning & TestingProvide direct communication between Business Continuity Management, IT Infrastructure Operations, Technology Architecture, IT Systems Engineering, Application CIO teams, Business areas, and third party vendors. Participate in required technical and business planning meetings for all DR testing activities.Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery plans and procedures, runbooks, and test scripts with the support of technical SMEs, while adhering to corporate guidelines, policies, and standards.Coordinate annual IT Disaster Recovery testing for both on-premises applications and supporting infrastructure, as well as third party hosted applications.Facilitate and support business testing during disaster recovery exercises to ensure a high level of resiliency for critical business data, systems, and operations.Support on-site DR testing when needed.DR GovernanceFacilitate timely identification, communication, escalation, and remediation of issues in support of a US enterprise-wide Disaster Recovery testing and assurance program.Ensure the US DR testing program is meeting regulatory requirements and expectations.Conduct regular DR debrief meetings with key Technology and Business stakeholders to review DR testing results, issues, lessons learned, and opportunities for improvement.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty at a high level and in a timely manner. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform the job satisfactorily. Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: IT Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Cyber Resilience, or equivalent field. CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) is a plus, but not required.Work Experience: 5+ Years Experience in Disaster Recovery, IT Resiliency, Business Continuity, and Cyber Resilience.Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of IT infrastructure operations and familiarity with disaster recovery operations.General knowledge of various technologies and concepts including data replication, virtualization, network routing, firewalls, Microsoft Office required. Familiarity with business continuity and disaster recovery program life cycles (e.g. Business Impact Analysis (BIA), continuity planning, disaster recovery test planning, etc.) is a plus.Ability to collaborate with IT team members at all levels of responsibility.Ability to communicate technology concepts into business terms with internal customers at all levels.Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey DR plans, exercises, and activities.
