Job Description:

Modis is currently seeking a .NET Developer to work in large software development company based in Weston, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience developing in a .NET 4.0 environment using VB (Visual Basic). Some qualifications are listed below:
 
Expertise with VB.Net, .Net framework 4.0
• Experience with Visual Studio 2012
• Experience developing multi-tier client-server applications
• Experience developing user interface forms-based applications
• Experience using Source Control systems such as Microsoft Team Server
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases
• Expertise writing SQL language queries, triggers, stored procedures
• Understanding of and experience with software lifecycle
• Ability to work productively and independently
• Plus is experience using C# with .Net framework 4.0
• Plus is experience using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
• Plus  is experience Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
 
Language Skills
• Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.

The company also allows employees to work 3-4 days remotely.
