this role, you will be joining a team supporting internal
customers, designing, implementing, and managing lab infrastructure
to meet the customer requirements. In this role, you will build,
configure, administer, and troubleshoot Windows & Linux servers and
user workstation hardware and software; design and implement
workgroup-scale networks; build and manage authentication,
file-share, and other collaboration servers to support groups of
heterogeneous client systemsPosition Summary In this role, you will
be joining a team supporting internal customers, designing,
implementing, and managing lab infrastructure to meet the customer
requirements. In this role, you will build, configure, administer,
and troubleshoot Linux servers and user workstation hardware and
software; design and implement workgroup-scale networks; build and
manage authentication, file-share, and other collaboration servers
to support groups of heterogeneous client systems.In this Senior
Systems Administrator role, you will make impacts in the following
ways;
- Work with facilities security staff to develop and apply
hardening steps for systems for classified use to NISPOM Chapter 8,
JAFAN, and other customer standards.
- Document system configuration for new and existing systems.
Experience with centralized authentication technologies such as
LDAP and Active Directory domains in supporting (Windows/Linux)
cross-platform clients is desirable.
- Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure
technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service
- Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for
various project and operational needs
- Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across
all environments
- Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for
reporting of performance exceptions
- Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity
planning
- Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches,
hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware
- Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
- Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security,
efficiency, and scalability of the environment
- Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop
automation strategies and deployment processesThis role will
require occasional off-hours responses to outages and an individual
to take part in subsequent service restoration efforts.

Bachelor's Degree and previous
working experience as a Linux Administrator for 5 year(s) IN depth
knowledge of Windows Server, Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Debian,
etc.Hands on experience with MySQL and/or MariaDBFamiliarity with
VMWare and SAN management and conceptsExpert in Shell, Perl, and/or
Python scriptingSolid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP,
LDAP, SMTP and SNMPAdditional Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE and
LPIC) will be considered an advantageStrong problem solving and
communication skillsPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
CompTIA Security+ CEBachelor's Degree
in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar relevant degree
Experience in monitoring solutions applications (Zabbix)Experience
with Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes Experience with Active
DirectoryPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $92290 -
$156860Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
