to bring on a Sr. Developer to our Enterprise Web Platform
organization. The Enterprise Web Platform organization supports the
design, development, implementation, and ongoing administration of
key capabilities supporting Lincoln Financial Group's secure
website - identity and access management, site registration, web
experience and content management, cache and search capabilities,
and core services to drive user profile, web preferences and access
delegation.As a Sr. Developer in this organization, you will be
responsible for using agile engineering practices and various
software and web development technologies to rapidly develop
creative and efficient solutions that enhance the Lincoln customer
and employee experience.What you'll be doing
- Analyzes, designs, codes, debugs, integrates, and tests complex
software application solutions for systems.
- Investigates and resolves complex problems including providing
support for Production systems in a timely manner - includes
potential for off-hours support requirements.
- Identifies potential application solutions by understanding
complex business/technical problems and opportunities.
- Provides input on the development of project plans, test plans
and implementation plans including determining estimates on time
frames.
- Proactively identifies problems and presents/develops complex
solutions.
- Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders and
management.
- Serves as a technical expert and provides complex technical
guidance to junior team members.
- Demonstrate a learning mindset by contiguously cross-training
on new tools and technologies.What we're looking forMust-haves:
- 7+ Years of experience in application development.
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer
Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or
Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience (4 years of
experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
- Deep expertise in Java, spring framework (Springboot, Spring
Security), Angular, NodeJs.
- Experience in Amazon Web Services (CloudFormation, S3,
CloudFront, ALB, SG, KMS, ECS, EC2, Lambda, Route 53, VPC, Secrets
Manager, IAM, ElastiCache, DynamoDB, ACM, SQS, SNS, Kinesis
Firehouse, CDK).
- Experience in oauth2.0 protocol.
- Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Experience in unit/integration testing
- Hands on Experience in setting up CI/CD pipeline.
- Proven track record as a strong collaborator and
communicator
- Experience in Agile infrastructure, environments, and
deployment strategies / technologies to drive efficient working
practices and DevOps
- Experiences with code refactoring, design patterns,
design-driven development, continuous deployment, highly scalable
applications, application securityNice-to-haves:
- Experience in the following languages/frameworks, application
platforms and developer tools:
- Auth0
- GitLab
- Splunk
- Application Monitoring Tooling (AppDynamics, New Relic)
- Jmeter scripting

$105,301 - $190,000Actual base pay could vary based on
non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work
experience, education, location, licensure requirements,
proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay
is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for
employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual
Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the
performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other
