Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of our Prepared Foods team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of food safety and quality.Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and Train Team Members: Lead and motivate a team of Prepared Foods team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high-quality food standards.
• Manage Department Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the Prepared Foods department, including inventory management, ordering, and receiving.
• Ensure Food Safety and Quality: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all food safety and quality standards, and ensuring that all team members are aware of and adhere to these standards.
• Provide Excellent Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming environment for customers, responding promptly to their needs and concerns, and ensuring that they receive exceptional service.Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Leadership Experience: 1+ year of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Food Safety Certification: Possess a valid food safety certification and a strong understanding of food safety and quality standards.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to think critically and adapt to changing situations, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.Working Conditions:This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
