Your success matters to us, evident in the enduring careers of many designers who have built 5, 10, even 15 years with Norfolk.Requirements:-- Follow the Norfolk Design & Sales Process: Ensure a consistent and exceptional customer experience by adhering to the Norfolk design and sales process.-- Collaborate with the Team: As a kitchen and bath designer, you will work closely with the showroom team and coordinate with other support teams, such as delivery, construction, and customer service.-- Design, Estimate & Measure Projects: Create customized and functional designs for kitchens and baths, utilizing precise measurement skills to ensure a proper fit.-- Achieve Sales and Margin Goals: Strive to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly & annual targets.-- Cultivate Lasting Relationships: Build and nurture enduring relationships with homeowner and builder clients.-- Attend Training and Events: Stay informed about the latest design trends and industry changes by actively participating in training sessions and events.Requirements:Proven success in a sales role involving face to face customer interactions.Strong project management and organizational skillsKnowledge of cabinetry construction and design planningExperience with design software such as 20/20 or AutoCAD helpfulKnowledge of trends & materials, color, finishesClear, professional communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to effectively resolve problems from design to installationAbility to foster a team environment, motivate and teachAptitude for calculations (measurements, gross profit)Proficient with Microsoft applications including Calendar, Word, Excel and working within a shared folder setup.Education and Experience:-- 3+ years in relationship-based sales, preferably in kitchen and bath design.-- Track record of meeting sales goals and contributing to team success.-- Knowledge of interior design and building materials is beneficial.Physical Requirements:-- Valid driver's license for travel to customer sites.-- Ability to perform physical job tasks as needed.-- Ability to articulate, write, and read in English.-- Comfortable sitting and working with PC-related tasks for extended periods.-- Comfortable navigating around construction machinery and other potential site hazards if necessaryPerks:-- Competitive salary with commission incentives.-- Full benefits package, including health, dental, and Norfolk-paid life insurance.-- 401k with generous company match.-- Professional development and career growth opportunities-- Positive and inclusive workplace culture.-- Employee discounts and additional perksAbout UsNorfolk Kitchen and Bath is a division of The Norfolk Companies.
