  • Title: Certified Surgical Technologist Opportunity to Work in a Critical Access Hospital!
  • We are seeking to hire an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our Surgical Services department.
  • The department includes pre-op, operating room, and recovery room.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in general/laparoscopic and orthopedic surgeries.

    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum of 1-2 years experience working as a surgical technologist.
    • Experience in general/laparoscopic and orthopedic surgeries preferred.
    • Graduate of an approved operating room (OR) technologist program with certification is ideal, but non-certified candidates who become certified within one year will be considered.
    • Able to use medical technologies, have surgical technology knowledge, and technical understanding.
    • Creating a safe, effective environment.
    • Performing diagnostic procedures.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • People skills, dependability, quality focus, and planning.
    • Must be able to understand written and oral instructions.
    • Current Basic Life Support certificate required.
      • Schedule Information
      • Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 4:30 pm + on Call.
      • Light to medium workload that alternates between scheduled cases.
      • Light call schedule with a 45-minute call back time.
      • Call is only one day a week and every third weekend.
      • Self-scheduling for call to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
