Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse school of nursing
Knowledge of Geriatric Nursing required
The employee in this position is expected to perform these and any additional tasks as assigned by their supervisor or facility Administrator, even if not specifically listed. This role involves comprehensive oversight of resident care, regulatory compliance, team supervision, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Management and Supervision : Supervises and evaluates resident care, assigning tasks to staff according to qualifications and resident needs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing supplies.
Clinical and Patient Care : Provides direct patient care, conducts resident assessments, administers medications, and initiates corrective actions when needed. Safety and Health : Ensures safety through infection control, medication management, and adherence to facility policies, including resident rights to privacy and dignity.
Engages in ongoing education, attends meetings, and adheres to facility dress codes.
Maintains accurate records, revises care plans, completes discharge documentation, and adheres to documentation standards.
Assists in policy interpretation, participates in evaluations, and may be assigned to specific facility areas.
This role requires professionalism, dependability, and cooperative work with all stakeholders to maintain high-quality resident care and compliance.
