Medical Secretary - Float Position

Job Description:

We are currently hiring a Medical Secretary for a busy Cardiology practice! This will be a float position that will require travel between 4 practices.Description:Medical Secretary will be working in a few different offices throughout the week: W. Hartford, Hartford, Glastonbury, Avon.SHIFT: Need to be able to start as early as 7:15 on some days and stay until 5pm.

• 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri. The Medical Secretary will be tied to a Doctor and Medical Assistant and they will work out of the offices mentioned above throughout the week. The Medical Secretary will be responsible for:
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Checking patients in and out
  • Insurance verification
  • Work within the EMR system
  • Register new patients within the systemSkills:Medical Secretary, Medical Receptionist, Medical Terminology, Cardiology, Cardiologist, EKG, Patient Registration, Check in, Check Out, Patient Access, Patient Service, Medical recordAdditional Skills & Qualifications:
