POSITION SUMMARY:This position reports directly to the Behavioral Health Nurse Manager. - Responsible for providing direct clinical services on the Behavioral Health Unit for both adolescents and adults. - The incumbent, under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist will be involved in the development and coordination of groups and activities. - Accountable for providing individual and group treatment based upon treatment plan and unit needs. - In close collaboration with the Occupational Therapist, will ensure that treatment interventions are appropriate, meeting patient's individual functional status and up-to-date with current discipline practices. -Contributes to creating a caring and compassionate environment through ECHN's core values of respect, teamwork and communication. -EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a college with an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
