  • The RN and LPN partners with our residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care.
  • Units include several specialized areas, such as working with Alzheimer's/dementia residents, providing short-term, skilled nursing and rehab services, and offering long-term care in a home-like environment.
    • Job Requirements
    • Associates in Nursing required
    • Valid State of Maine or compact RN license required
    • 1-3 years previous RN experience
    • Medical terminology preferred
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills required
    • The ability to work well within a team of other care providers
    • Flexibility required to coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days per week
    • Flexibility to float to other units as needed
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for education and experience requirements

        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit details for 3 East, Transitional Rehabilitation Unit, and 3 West reflecting specialized care, short-term rehabilitation services, and long-term placement respectively
          • Additional Details
          • Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered
          • Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
          • St. Mary's has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13 week contract
          • Candidate must reside outside of a 50 mile radius
