• Job Details
• The RN partners with our residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care.
• 3 East is a 31-bed specialized unit, working with Alzheimer's/dementia residents, tailoring care to meet their needs.
• The Transitional Rehabilitation Unit occupies the second floor of d'Youville Pavilion, a 42-bed unit providing short-term nursing and rehab services.
• 3 West is a 42-bed long-term care unit, providing needed care in a home-like environment.
  • Job Requirements
  • Associates in Nursing required.
  • Valid State of Maine or compact RN license required.
  • 1-3 years previous RN experience preferred.
  • Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills required.
  • Ability to work well within a team of other care providers.
  • Flexibility to cover 24 hours/day, 7 days per week.
  • Flexibility to float to other units as needed.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above requirements.

      • 3 East focuses on care for Alzheimer's/dementia residents.
      • Transitional Rehabilitation Unit provides skilled nursing and rehab services for short-term recovery.
      • 3 West offers long-term care in a home-like environment.
        • Additional Details
        • Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
        • St. Mary's has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
        • Candidate must reside outside of a 50 mile radius.
