They have revenues in excess of $ 20m and are poised for their next phase of growth thanks to a recent transaction. Job Description Thanks to a recent transaction, the need for a Director of Finance has arisen in Boston (hybrid role) to lead the accounting and finance team of a medium sized EdTech business.Reporting directly to the Group CFO overseas, the Director of Finance will manage all finance operations for North America, with the exciting opportunity to scale a highly effective finance team as the business grows. The successful Director of Finance will also act as a commercial finance business partner to the US operations. This is a hands-on role that blends strategic financial planning with operational management, offering the chance to make a tangible impact on the company's trajectory.Main duties and responsibilities include the following:
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, along with KPI tracking, sales pipeline analysis, and reporting for investors and debt partners.
  • Lead all financial operations for North America, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the integration of financial systems and processes to ensure a seamless post-acquisition transition.
  • Develop and execute financial strategies that fuel the growth and profitability of the North American tech business.
  • Collaborate closely with the Group CFO and global finance team to align financial goals with the company's vision.
  • Provide data-driven financial insights to the U.S. leadership team, supporting critical decisions that drive business success.

    • Bachelor's degree required (essential)
    • CPA (essential)
    • 8+ years of relevant experience, ideally within the tech industry (essential)
    • Ability to work a hybrid schedule, between Boston office and REMOTE (essential) What's on Offer
