Who we are looking forAs an ESG Analyst at State Street Global
Advisors ("SSGA"), you will play a key role in fulfilling
ESG-related reporting and disclosure requirements, including
supporting work related to regulatory expectations and external
commitments to frameworks such as the Principles for Responsible
Investment. Through this work, you will support the firm's goals of
maximizing our positioning in the market and providing excellent

forAs an ESG Analyst (AVP), you will report into the Global Head of
ESG Operations and Administration and will be responsible for the
following:
- Play a leading role in the firm's reporting to satisfy
sustainability-related disclosure frameworks and external
commitments, including but not limited to: serving as a subject
matter expert about disclosure standards; understanding the firm's
capabilities and practices; performing gap analyses; recommending
approaches to disclosure; interacting with key stakeholders from
the Investment, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Regulatory teams;
developing project plans; and monitoring deliverables and
deadlines.
- Support initiatives to meet ESG-related regulatory obligations
in various jurisdictions, including but not limited to reporting
and disclosure obligations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage key
stakeholders across the firm to help drive ESG priorities.
- Serve as a centralized ESG resource for colleagues across the
Investments team.
- Help develop and implement ESG policies, procedures, business
controls/process documentation and oversight.
- Monitor and summarize ESG market, regulatory, and industry
developments.
- Contribute to a variety of ongoing tasks and special projects
related to the firm's obligations and/or commitments as needs
evolve.What we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this

- Natural curiosity and desire to learn ESG concepts in a rapidly
developing marketplace.
- Experience implementing policies, procedures, and business
controls.Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5-7 years of experience in financial services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience working for an asset manager and/or ESG-related
organization.
- Academic or work experience in ESG-related topics such as
climate change and environment preferred.
- Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks such as Principles for
