Qualys VMDR: Vulnerability Management VM EngineerBoston, Massachusetts 02108Posted July 19th, 2024Job Title: Qualys VMDR: Vulnerability Management VM EngineerJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualys VMDR: Vulnerability Management VM Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining vulnerability management programs using Qualys VMDR. This role requires a deep understanding of vulnerability management best practices and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.Responsibilities and Duties:

• Implement and manage Qualys VMDR to identify, assess, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain vulnerability management reports and dashboards for management review.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing as needed.
• Assist in responding to security incidents and conducting post-incident analysis.
• Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members.Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in vulnerability management and security operations.
• Hands-on experience with Qualys VMDR and other vulnerability management tools.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices in vulnerability management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a plus.
