Job Description:
OverviewThe Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for
overseeing the entire product lifecycle for existing and new inkjet
digital print solutions while driving our business's growth for
expansion. As part of a global team, you will be responsible for
the regional implementation and management of new and existing
globally launched products. You will work closely with
cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, operations,
finance, EHS, and service to ensure the product's success in the
market. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in
product management, a strong blend of technical, business, and
interpersonal skills to drive product initiatives and deliver
exceptional value to customers.This position can be remote based,
but preferably located near Hanover Park, IL with the ability to
come on site as needed.FUJIFILM North America Corporation, a
marketing subsidiary of FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation,
consists of six operating divisions. This opportunity is in the
Graphic Communications Division (GCD). GCD utilizes its extensive
industry knowledge to develop fully supported traditional and
digital print solutions for industries including commercial print,
wide format, and packaging with its comprehensive line of digital
inkjet presses, production toner printers, and software.The Graphic
Communication Division of FUJIFILM North America Corporation is the
largest graphic distributor in the US. We deliver world class,
state of the art solutions for Ink Jet Printing, Digital Printing,
Wide Format, Offset Plates, Packaging, and a full range of
traditional Offset supplies. In addition, we are the industry
leader in Color Standardization and G7 implementation.External
USResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy:Develop and execute a
comprehensive product strategy aligned with company goals and
market trends for the North American market. Monitor and analyze
competitor activities and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
Identify and communicate key differentiators to sales teams. Gather
customer feedback to identify opportunities for product
improvements and enhancements in the future. In general, be the
personal advocate for their product(s).Product Launch:Coordinate
product launches including planning, execution, and post-launch
analysis. Spearhead the definition of the value proposition for
each solution and work with marketing and sales teams to develop
go-to-market strategies, messaging, and sales enablement materials.
Work closely with the creative marketing team to create all
necessary collateral material. After initial creation, monitor
these assets to ensure the messaging is still relevant and
accurate. This includes brochures, customer events, websites, and
social media.Product Performance Monitoring:Define and track
product performance vs. budget and other key performance indicators
(KPIs) to measure product success and drive data-driven decisions
using Salesforce reports and dashboards. In addition, capture the
"Voice of the customer" throughout the product life cycle. This
should be done through regular participation in customer
demonstrations, as well as site visits to existing and potential
customers. A product manager should also gather and maintain
current competitive market information and competitive analysis as
needed.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Foster strong relationships
with cross- functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration
throughout the product lifecycle. Communicate product updates,
milestones, and challenges to stakeholders at all levels of the
organization. Work with operations and sales to develop and
maintain forecasts to ensure proper inventory levels.Training
Content:Responsible for the development and maintenance of training
content for their product(s) to train the existing sales team, new
hires, and the dealer channel. This includes presentation materials
and video content that can be delivered by an instructor in a
classroom as well as pre-content recorded by the product manager to
be delivered in a self-paced learning environmentPeople
Management:Provide clear direction and guidance regarding
expectations, policies, procedures, business workflows, resources
and regular 1:1 interaction. Monitor employee performance and
provide constructive feedback and coaching.Required
Skills/EducationB.A. or B.S. degreeMinimum of 10 years in Product
Management, Business Development, or similar roles preferably in
the Graphic Arts IndustryKnowledge of some or all Graphics key
segments - Commercial, Sign & Display, Labels, and
PackagingExperience managing & leading a teamStrong leadership,
teamwork, and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with
both internal and external customersCapable of conducting effective
customer/user interviewsAble to build revenue, pricing, and product
adoption modelsEffective meeting planning and
facilitationPresentation and group speaking abilityAbility to
thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong operational &
project management skillsAbility to effectively manage multiple
