Come join our team!BAE Systems Countermeasures and Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) business area is seeking a Quality Director 1 in the Advanced Compact EW Systems (ACES) product line. The Quality Director will lead our Program Quality Engineers on development and production programs in New Hampshire and Austin. Oversight shall include, but not limited to, quality assurance, continuous process improvement, and lifecycle management. This role will also be responsible to drive permanent mistake proofed corrective actions using quality science tools via 8D methodology. They will help integrate AS9145 for key products utilizing FMEA, Control Plan, Capability Studies, and MSA. Additionally, they will work closely with the Customer, Program Management offices & Supplier Quality Teams along with other critical functions to provide world class program execution. Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely and travel to other locations. Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • A Bachelor's Degree and 12 years work experience or 16+ years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Self-starting problem solver with a fact based focus on continuous improvement, and a demonstrated history of leadership
  • Strong and Demonstrated Communication Skills (written, verbal, visual) and interpersonal skills (listening and communicating within a group/team/geographically diverse environment).
  • Enjoys working with and coaching Quality professionals and other cross-functional team members to continuously improve execution success
  • Strong understanding of Quality Science tools (APQP/PPAP, 8D RCCA, Statistical Process Controls, Lean Six Sigma, Auditing) along with relevant industry standards (AS9100, AS9102 and AS9145).
  • Strong experience in Transition to ProductionPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
    • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
    • Active Secret or higher clearancesPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $147300 - $250400Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
