Machine Learning EngineerEVident Battery is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join a highly collaborative team of experts in fields like engineering, machine learning, and EV battery reliability. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain professional development experience in an innovative company that is setting new standards in the EV battery industry.
What You'll Do:As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will design, implement, and deploy machine learning models while developing robust data pipelines. You will also ensure efficient data management and analysis, leveraging modern technologies like Terraform, HTMX, and Ansible for a seamless, scalable, and interactive experience.
Modeling and Data Pipeline Management:

• 
  
• Train, finetune, and maintain deep learning and machine learning systems for EV battery services, from research to production. Consult with managers to determine and refine machine learning objectives.
  
• Construct data-optimized data pipelines to feed and support machine learning models.
  
• Implement automated, reproducible cloud infrastructure provisioning to build a scalable and reliable foundation for machine learning and data management.
  
  Data Analysis and Visualization:

  • Develop APIs and backend services to support data-driven applications and real-time data visualization.
    
    Cross-Collaboration:
    
    • 
      
    • Work with machine learning engineers to deploy models into production.
      
    • Develop new features based on user feedback to continuously enhance our technology platform.
      
      Qualifications:
      
      • 
        
      • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
        
      • Candidates must have at least 1 year of full-time experience for PhD degree holders, 2 years for Master's degree holders, and 3 years for Bachelor's degree holders in machine learning, data engineering, or data science. Candidates demonstrating exceptional experience and skills may be considered under a more flexible set of criteria.
        
      • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++) and experience with deep learning and machine learning libraries (e.g., PyTorch/PyTorch-Lightning, sklearn).
        
      • Understanding of database management (SQL/NoSQL) and principles of data modeling and ETL processes.
        
      • Familiarity with backend frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django, Express.js) and API development.
        
      • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) technologies like Terraform is a plus.
        
      • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
        
      • Enthusiastic about contributing to a rapidly growing startup, innovative mind with passion for continuous learning.
