in the industry.Job OverviewOur Research Team is a national leader
in understanding the real impacts that these new solutions have on
addressing climate change. We are seeking a Senior Energy Engineer
who will play an important role on the Research Team by working on
teams to lead applied research projects to quantify energy impacts
and help us achieve clean energy and equity solutions.Job
ResponsibilitiesLead and conduct the evaluations and analysis of
energy systems and improvement strategies in communities and
buildings including HVAC, building controls, renewable energy
(solar PV), battery energy storage system (BESS), and/or vehicle
charging. Lead and conduct field research by visiting buildings and
other facilities to gather information and data, which may include
hands-on measurement of energy, user satisfaction, comfort, and
other outcomes.Recommend designs and strategies to integrate and
coordinate distributed energy resources (e.g., BESS, solar PV etc.)
and other emerging technologies into buildings. Responsible for all
aspects of a research project from inception to delivery of the
final product. Perform technical and administrative tasks
associated with project delivery. Identify, seek, and secure new
research funding. Negotiate project scope, and review contracts.Job
