Nashua New Hampshire is an hour northwest of Boston with all the

Successful CandidateBAE Systems is seeking a Supplier Quality
Engineer - Operational Excellence, who will report to the Supplier
Quality Manager II - Operational Excellence. This individual will
work across the ES Sector to deploy new critical capabilities and
standardize processes and procedures. This individual will provide
support to the business in the area of supplier quality assurance,
optimizing the supplier engagement process utilizing a KPI program
and standard tools and processes to ensure our supply base is
prepared and have robust plans to deliver quality products to BAE
program customers. This individual will deploy Lean-6Sigma
practices across the SQA organization and supply base with a
results focus that will have substantial impact on business
performance and on delivering operational excellence to customers.
You will also drive a CI culture deploying industry leading tools,
processes and technologies. You must be a driven problem solver who
will utilize your analytical skills to find innovative solutions to
supplier quality related issues & challenges and mitigate supplier
related business disruptions.Responsibilities:
Deploy and embed new critical
capabilities and standardized ways of working across Electronic
Systems in line with customer and stakeholder needsCollaborate
across Business Areas and Functions for planning, execution and
management of process improvements, projects and other
initiativesDevelop, improve, and continuously monitor/communicate a
standard, meaningful, and actionable KPI/metrics program that can
be reported to the most senior level of leadership in order to
provide supplier status and health of supply chainAdministers the
operational excellence CI project portfolio management process to
identify, implement, and sustain best practices across the function
and supply chainSupports internal supplier quality and external
supplier candidates through the 6Sigma Green/Black Belt
certification program Partnering with the supplier quality
development team in applying analytical tools to quantify
performance levels of suppliers at the sector level and develop
improvement plans to achieve 100% quality performance Coordinate
with Supplier Partnerships to execute a One-Voice BAE message to
the supply base around development and improvementsSupporting the
business in resolving systemic supplier issues, using the known
lean and 6S tools and CI methodology as a way to improve Quality,
Delivery, Cost and Inventory of supplied materialSupporting AS9145
APQP/PPAP deployment across the supply baseSupports key supplier
business review process to monitor metrics, identify trends and
execute CI projects to assure demonstrated performance
improvementsEnhance supplier and organization quality culture
through coaching and technical engagementBecause this role involves
a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it
will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between
working onsite and remotely.#supplierqualityRequired Education,
Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree and 6-8+ years
direct experience, or related experience in Operational Excellence
or Continuous Improvement or 8-12+ years of experience in lieu of
degreeGreen Belt required, Black Belt preferredHave led multiple
high impact kaizens and/or Black belt projectsSome experience with,
and an understanding of, sourcing and execution in regulated,
demanding industries such as Aerospace/Defense, Medical Device,
Automotive (APQP), or other challenging marketsStrong RCCA 8D
experience training & leading suppliers and internal events Strong
interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
with people at all levels and in diverse and different
settingsSelf-starter; identifies challenges/problems and takes the
initiative to identify solutionsMotivates team members, fosters and
nurtures teamworkCan diffuse high-tension situations calmly and
effectivelySome travel expectedPreferred Education, Experience, &

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering,
Quality or Manufacturing and 8 years of related

Master black belt certification preferredPay InformationFull-Time
Salary Range: $126610 - $215270Please note: This range is based on
our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are
determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
business considerations, local market conditions, and internal
equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills,
