Benefits: Up to $1450 per week (based on experience) $5K Sign-on Bonus Health benefits starting day 1 including; Medical insurance Life insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance coverage What you'll do: As one of our Heavy Equipment Mechanics you'll repair and maintain the transportation fleet and act as custodian of the fleet records. Performs preventative maintenance on all vehicles (approx. 97) every 90 days. Performs inspections on vehicles every 90 days. Repairs, as necessary, all vehicles to ensure they are safe and legal for use. Maintains registration all vehicles. Performs emergency on-road vehicle break down repairs as necessary. Maintains official vehicle records. --- Handles all transportation related agency inspections. Purchases all parts & supplies as needed. --- Insures VIK, VRS inspections are performed annually on tanker equipment. Installs PTOs, and pumps and new equipment for bulk deliveries. Assists tank farm personnel as needed with pump failures. Maintains waste oil generation and disposal records.
