an experienced Principal Program Quality Engineer who will be a
member of a cross-functional program team within the Advanced
Compact Electronic-Warfare Solutions (ACES) Product Line's
Production Portfolio. The Principal Program Quality Engineer will
support a fast paced production program and will act as a leader
and mentor for supporting program quality engineer(s). The
individual selected for this position will be expected to perform
and lead the following activities:
- Basis of Estimate (BOE)
- Review of program contract requirements and develop/implement
an effective quality plan
- Provide clear communication and flow down of program quality
requirements to all affected disciplines (Engineering, Operations,
and Program Management)
- Production Process Verification (PPV)
- First Article Inspections (FAI)
- Quality Management Systems Audits
- Control of Non-Conforming Materials including leading
containment and disposition activities
- Material Review Board and Failure Review Board
participation
- Manufacturing Support for Production Build including Process
Review Board, Corrective Action Board and Configuration Control
Board participation
- Supplier/Sub-contractor engagement
- Quality Assurance Visual Mechanical Inspection (QA VMI)
- Documentation / Configuration Analysis and Review
- Documentation Preparation for Customer Presentation / Sell
Off
- Presentation of Product for Customer Acceptance (Sell Off)
- Driving Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities
through to closure
- Performance of data review activities to drive continuous
improvement/zero defect initiativesRequired Education, Experience,
& Skills
- Self-starting problem solver with a fact based focus on
continuous improvement, and a demonstrated history of
leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to lead others in dynamic, highly diverse,
cross discipline teams; experience working, interfacing and
interrelating with diverse personnel both operational and
technical.
- Strong and demonstrated communication skills(written, verbal,
visual) and interpersonal skills (listening and communication
within group/team environment)
- Must have strong working knowledge of AS9102 Industry
Standard
- Strong understanding of RCCA (8D or equivalent)problem solving
methodology
- Understanding of AS9145 process and tools
- Must have experience in facilitation and supporting Audits
- Experience in collaborating with internal and external
CustomersPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Prior Quality Assurance Engineering Responsibilities
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditing Course or Lead Auditor Certification
preferred
- Hands on Experience in a Defense Electronics Prime Contract
Environment
- Green or Black Belt Certification
- Lean Six Sigma Analysis and Tools Experience
- Active Secret ClearancePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range:
$112420 - $191070Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
