Assistant Professor of Accounting, Questrom School of Business, Boston University Tracking Code: 24599935321023 Job Description Position Overview The Questrom School of Business at Boston University invites applications for one tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Accounting, beginning July 1, 2025. Required Skills Prospective candidates must demonstrate a track record of producing original and innovative scholarly work of the highest quality and impact. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and a capacity to engage in course/program development of financial and managerial accounting related courses, particularly with a focus on analytics and artificial intelligence. The Questrom School of Business offers courses in Undergraduate, MBA, Masters, and PhD programs. The teaching load for incoming research-active Assistant Professors is three sections per year. Strong skills in empirical research are expected, and a PhD or equivalent degree in Accounting is required. Salary and research support are competitive.
