Million In New FundingSUMMARY:As Guardian Agriculture prepares for
our commercial launch, we're seeking a full-time Marketing and
Communications Specialist to help shape and amplify our messages.
This role is crucial in improving brand awareness and generating
sales leads. You will manage our communications efforts, develop
content, and drive marketing efforts that enhance growth and brand
awareness.Key Responsibilities:
- Inbound Communications:
- Respond to inbound product inquiries and customer emails
promptly and professionally.
- Bring order and relevance to an otherwise neglected Salesforce
CRM.
- Social Media Management:
- Maintain and grow Guardian Agriculture's social media presence,
including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
- Develop and execute social media campaigns, track their
effectiveness, and optimize strategies to generate leads.
- Content Creation:
- Write copy and create marketing collateral, including websites,
email campaigns (using HubSpot), banner ads, videos, sales
materials, and more.
- Develop content for both short- and long-form communications
with impeccable grammar and style.
- Communications:
- Identify opportunities for media coverage and develop
relationships with print and media companies to feature Guardian
Agriculture's perspectives in publications.
- Lead Generation & CRM Management:
- Use social media, tradeshows, and other sources to identify
prospective leads.
- Arrange Guardian participation in trade shows, staffing 2-4
annually.
- Revitalize usage of Salesforce (or alternative if you feel
strongly) to track lead pipeline.
- Future Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the company website.
- Assist with organization of, and staffing at trade shows.
- Capacity permitting, assist with current priorities - creating
client proposals, etc.To Be Successful You Will Have:
- Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related
field; in lieu of a degree, demonstrated capabilities are
acceptable.
- 2-5 years of experience in journalism, brand content strategy,
copywriting, or communications.
- Experience with Salesforce is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong ability to
develop content across various platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and innovative
thinking.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and flexible
attitude.
- Willingness to do menial tasks with joy.
- Location:
- Role is hybrid and optionally remote with the expectation of
spending several days in the office at the initiation of employment
and at least quarterly in-person visits (ideally 1 day per
