A B2B distributor of specialized laboratory testing instruments in the Burlington area is hiring an Accountant to join their 4 person accounting team. The veteran-owned company has experienced steady growth over the last 30 years and have never done layoffs. They do over 50M in sales a year, and this role is critical to ensuring all revenue is properly accounted for. You'll be collaborating with their Senior Accountant and AP/AR team to ensure that all invoices have been properly processed and contributing to month end close by reconciling credit card receivables/payables, international vendor prepaids and assets/liabilities, using Sage and Excel on a daily basis. Given it is a retailer, you'll be maintaining purchases clearing reports and inventory trial balances. Must Have Skills 3+ years of experience in accounting field Past experience with AP/AR lifecycle, ideally in a retail environment or another high volume environment Past experience reconciling credit card accounts, international vendor prepaids, assets and liabilities At least a basic understanding of clearing reports, inventory valuation reports, inventory trial balance and PO variance reports Nice to Have Skills Past experience using Sage Benefits Health, Dental, Vision 401K with match Tuition reimbursement Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
