We are seeking a skilled Internal Auditor to join one of our Financial Services clients in the Boston, MA area. This position will play a key role in auditing, testing, and documenting the operating effectiveness of key SOX controls in a timely manner while ensuring the quality and accuracy of work. You will also be responsible for maintaining detailed workpapers and updating progress in the reporting system. • Audit, test and document operating effectiveness of the assigned key SOX controls in a timely manner while maintaining quality & maintain detailed workpapers for the testing.
• Maintain detailed workpapers for the testing.
• Ability to converse with management regarding internal controls, compliance, and risk assessment.
• Timely update testing progress in reporting system - W-desk.
• Provide status updating and raise testing exception to manager for further issues management creation.What we're seeking:
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of Internal Auditing and SOX compliance experience.
• Accounting experience.
• SOX testing experience.
• Corporate Audit experience.
• Tech savvy.Skills
