We're fixing that.Launched in 2018, Clockwork is a cloud-based, AI-powered Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) platform, which connects directly to a company's accounting system (QuickBooks Online/Xero) and automatically provides real-time financial insights, accurate cash flow forecasts, and flexible business planning tools with no manual setup (or finance/accounting knowledge) required.Clockwork is already the most accurate and easy-to-use forecasting and financial analysis tool out there, serving hundreds of businesses and advisors. With our recent Seed VC funding, we're growing the team and looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to continue to push boundaries and create game-changing technology.About the Role:You'll be responsible for a variety of engineering tasks related both to existing features, as well as new features and integrations. You'll also be given the opportunity to provide input and influence the architecture, technical stack, and development practices to build a foundation for our future products and services.How you will make an impact:

  • Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases, including designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting new features and enhancements.
  • Continually improve the user experience.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders around key strategic projects.
  • Experiment with new technologies and approaches to solving our biggest problems.What you bring:
    • 5-7+ years of full stack software development experience with .NET, C#, Angular, and SQL.
    • Ambitious, with a growth mindset, and can lead projects with a high level of autonomy.
    • Experience in a small agile environment with shifting responsibilities.
    • Entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a fast-paced and growth-oriented company.
    • Experience building cloud-based SaaS products is a plus.
    • Experience working with fintech APIs (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, Stripe, Plaid, etc.) is a major plus.
    • Basic knowledge of finance/accounting concepts (or industry experience) is a major plus.
    • Familiarity with machine learning and statistical concepts is a plus.What you receive:
