Administrator for our Hudson NH location (Hybrid - partial remote

management of complex proposals, contracts and purchase orders
involving financial considerations or technical significance under
minimal supervision of a higher level contract administrator or
manager for the Electronic Attack Solutions product line (home to
the EA-37B Compass Call aircraft and EW support to the U-2
aircraft). The individual is expected to have as well as continue
to build the knowledge, skills and experience required for
effective contract management, including negotiations and regular
communication with customers and management and develop and
maintain professional and dependable relationships with both
internal and external customers.Daily responsibilities to include,
but not limited to:
- Coordination, negotiation and management of complex proposals
and contracts under minimal supervision.
- Work on complex assignments requiring independent action and a
high degree of initiative to resolve issues as well as an
understanding and compliance with company policies and
procedures.
- Ability to interact with the team to gather, interpret, analyze
and present information.
- Compliance with Company policies and procedures, legal,
regulatory and customer requirements.
- Prepare, negotiate and manage complex proposals/contracts.
- Provide leadership in both administration of contracts and
negotiations of critical proposals.
- Develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships
with both internal and external customers, which would include
commercial and international customers.
- Lead in the execution of the Contracts Role to include
pre-contract roles, contract management and monitoring as well as
negotiation/leadership responsibility.
- Demonstrate Business Acumen including informing program and
executive management of issues in a timely manner while providing
recommendations to support the achievement of business and
financial objectives.
- Possess solid working knowledge of the US Government
Acquisition and Procurement process, develop understanding of the
BAE Systems Contracts function and relevant Company policies and
procedures, FAR/DFARS, commercial contracting methods and other
government regulations.
- Support assigned proposal activities including, but not limited
to, analyzing solicitations and preparing summaries based on the
analysis, with attention to the financial and business risk of the
proposed effort; participating in all proposal team meetings;
preparing terms, conditions and assumptions for the proposal;
reviewing technical and pricing proposals for accuracy and
consistency; and preparing proposal documents for internal bid
approval review and submittal to the Customer.
- Research contract language and seek guidance on complex terms
and conditions from higher level Contract Administrators or
Contracts Manager.
- Review cost and price proposals as assigned to ensure they are
prepared and submitted in strict accordance with applicable laws,
regulations, contractual provisions and Company policy.
- Coordinate with other Company functions as required ensuring
that (1) appropriate reviews are scheduled and conducted, and (2)
required review and approval signatures are obtained before
submittal of proposals or execution of contractual documents.
- Conduct and lead negotiations and other activities such as fact
finding and audits, required to obtain contracts or orders, and
auxiliary agreements (e.g. Proprietary Information Agreements and
Teaming Agreements). Negotiate routine contracts and changes
commensurate with experience and demonstrated competence under the
specific guidance of the Contracts Manager.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the Company and the
Customer for all contractual matters on assigned contracts. Draft,
prepare, and execute certain internal and external correspondence
on contractual/program matters, under review by the Contract
Manager, commensurate with experience and demonstrated
competence.
- Administer all aspects of assigned contract processing
including, but not limited to, accuracy of order entry data,
contract funding, scope changes, contract amendments, receipts and
delivery schedules, legal requirements and other commitments.
- Compile and maintain all required contractual records and
documents in accordance with contract requirements and Company
policies and procedures. Serve as the official repository for all
contractual documentation and correspondence relative to assigned
contracts.
- Participate in final stages of assigned contract by (1)
verifying completion of all commitments, and (2) performing
assigned activities associated with Contract Closeout.
- Performs other duties as required.Please note: (1) pursuant to
a government contract, this specific position requires US
citizenship status; (2) given this role involves a combination of
independent and collaborative work, this position is best conducted
primarily onsite with opportunities for remote work on certain days
of the week that conform to established program operating norms.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelors Degree 4+
year(s) related experienceNOTE: The degree should be one in the
subject closest to the field of work ispreferred (Bachelors Degree
in Business, Finance or similar major or equivalent experience)
- Fundamental skills for coordinating and managing moderately
complex proposals, contracts and purchase orders involving limited
financial considerations or technical significance.
- A general understanding of government contracting.
- Customer service focus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to multitask and work under frequent deadlines
- Ability to learn job-related material through on-the-job
training
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation
skills
- Exhibits sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing,
coordinating, and negotiating with company personnel and
customers
- Experience using personal computers and related software to
maintain and databases and prepare reports
- Demonstrated ability to focus on closure and get results
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required security
clearance
- Strong work ethic, a positive attitude, dependable, attention
to detail and impeccable follow through is a must!

Education, Experience, & Skills
- Business or law degree with direct or highly related
experience
- Ability to read, understand, interpret and draft contractual
documents,
- Experience with US Government Acquisition and Procurement
process,
- In depth knowledge and practice of the Contracts function and
related company policies and procedures, commercial contracting
methods, FAR/DFARS, export and other government regulations.
- US DoD SECRET Level clearance or higher (current within a 4
year period).
- Experience with the complex RFP's, and large proposal
development.
- Experience with various USG agencies as well as other Defense
Contractors.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $78760 -
$133870Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
