Job Description:

Well established CPA firm with many established clients seeks tax accountant on a part time year around basis.

Prepare federal, state, and amended income tax returns utilizing client data, financial reports, reconciliations, and other accounting information.
Interact with a wide variety of clients including individuals, S & C corporations, partnerships, estates & trusts, non-profit organizations, and small businesses.
Assist in the planning and preparation of audited, reviewed, and compiled financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Perform entry-level assignments utilizing the firm's tax and audit research tools.
Expand the customer experience in an environment that combines innovative technology, techniques, and procedures.
Deliver high quality phone, email, and in-person customer service to all clients.
Uphold the firm's professional code of ethics and business conduct.


Certifications/Diplomas/Prerequisites:

Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting, Math, or another related area
Knowledge of ProFX, Lacerte or Ultratax preferred
Experience with QuickBooks and/or other accounting software is preferred
3+ years of experience in a professional business environment is preferred
